I, Introductions

Dr. Nguyen Quang Dinh received Degree of Engineer and Master of Science, in the field of Mechanical Engineering, from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam, in 2011 and 2013, respectively. From 2013 to 2018, he worked as a lecturer at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), Vietnam. He achieved a Ph.D. degree at the Japan Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), Ishikawa, Japan in March 2022 (supported by MEXT Scholarship). After graduation, Dr. Nguyen led a laboratory on Simulation and High-Performance Computing (SHPC) at the Institute of Technology, HaUI. In 2024, he joined Department of Robotics Engineering, Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, University of Engineering and Technology – Vietnam National University (VNU-UET). Besides, Dr. Nguyen has been a reviewer for prestigious journals such as Transaction on Robotics (T-RO), Soft Robotics (SoRo), Robotics and Automation Letters (RAL), and Advanced Robotics, and numerous international conferences like RSS, ICRA, IROS, RoboSoft, and SII.

With extensive experience in mechanical design and automatic systems, Dr. Nguyen has participated in numerous research projects and provided solutions for companies related to the design of mechanical systems and measurement equipment. He is proficient in design software programs such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD and has utilized Abaqus and Ansys during his Ph.D. research and various projects.
