TS. Phùng Mạnh Dương: Hiện đang là giảng viên tại trường Đại học Công nghệ, ĐHQGHN. TS. Dương đã có hơn 14 năm nghiên cứu và giảng dạy trong đó có cả vị trí giảng dạy tại Đại học Công nghệ Sysney (UTS) và Đại học Western Sysney (WSU). Hướng nghiên cứu quan tâm bao gồm: Thiết bị bay không người lái (UAV), Tự động hóa trong xây dựng, 3D reconstruction, Tối ưu hóa, Xử lý ảnh và Định vị cho robot di động.

Dương đã thực hiện các dự án nghiên cứu: “Theo dõi mắt (Eyes Tracking) với Phòng thí nghiệm Giải pháp không gian mạng NTT, Nhật Bản; “Tele-health” với Phòng thí nghiệm Cơ điện tử và Tự động hóa của Đại học quốc gia Singapore; “3D hand tracking” với Trung tâm nghiên cứu và phát triển di động Samsung Việt Nam; “Xử lý Point cloud trong xây dựng” với SIAMA Pty Ltd, Úc; “Robotics và tự động hóa trong xây dựng” với bộ quốc phòng Úc.

TS. Dương đã xuất bản nhiều bài báo nghiên cứu và nhận nhiều giải thưởng, trong đó có “Học bổng nghiên cứu Endeavour 2016” của chính phủ Úc.
